Designing value-driven solutions: The evolution of industrial product-service systems

Industrial Product-Service Systems (IPS²) have been increasingly researched and practiced in a variety of fields sectors. Nevertheless, such solutions are not as significantly implemented expected by the CIRP keynote 2010: it is dominant business manufacturing companies today despite their economic environmental advantages. One reason for this delay assumed to be that initial efforts were mainly on service when design was an afterthought. The promising digital technologies become easily implementable practice will next years facilitate implementation IPS² smartly satisfy users contribute sustainability.
